Universal KiTHE VIBE:
Receptive, All Is One It is only through silence that we can hear our Higher Self and the Universe communicating with us. It’s time to meditate. Ether, or Akasha (our Inner Space,) or Spirit, is the Ki that transcends us, and yet is fully a part of us, and of every other Element that is within us. It is our connection to the Otherworld. Spirit Ki brings transformation, balance, and enlightenment. We use it to connect to our wisdom, vision, and mystery work. Our Higher Self is our ‘bridge friend’ who introduces us to the Universal Ki. The Ki of the Universe has always been there, but now is the time to take notice and bring its vibe into your life. The best way to do this is through meditation. |

Suwatte Kokyū-Hō Part 1:
Tengoku nō Kokyū-Hō | 天国の呼吸法 | Heavenly Breathing Method
Merge with the Universal Energy | Unify your body with your mind
Card #16 Ki Magick Training Deck
The regular practice of this exercise unifies body and mind together with cosmic energy and brings insight. The exercise is a recognition for our own spirituality and the dimension in which we reside.
THE EXERCISE:
Sit down in seiza (kneeling as you would for meditation) with your hands on your lap and close your eyes.
Take a few breaths - calming your mind down. Lose your thoughts and let them be.
(Remember Hado Kokyū-Hō from card #6) Then when you are ready for it:
Exhale firmly (remember Chikyū no Kokyū – Breath of Earth from card #7)
Perform Gassho (bring your hands together in prayer with the intention of being fully present, grounded, and centered) - crossing your left thumb over your right thumb.
Inhale and bring your Gassho above your head over the crown chakra.
Feel then golden ki streaming through your crown chakra.
Ki from heaven is full of light, etheric and passive, with a golden colour.
Exhale through your nose while moving the Gassho in a spiral down in front of your face, and stopping at your heart chakra. Intend to pull that beautiful golden energy into your heart chakra as you spiral your hands down.
Repeat 10 times with the intention of feeling with every exhalation how your body is melting together with the essence of Heaven. Welcome the feelings of universal peace and community into your heart.
Variation: Try spiraling clockwise as well as counterclockwise - do you notice a difference?
Reiki Add On: This exercise uses the heavenly energy of the Sei He Ki symbol. If you are attuned to the symbol, incorporate it into your meditation by drawing it into your palms before performing Gassho, and by calling upon it’s energy when you visualize the golden energy of the heavens.

Gappei Kokyū-Hō | 合併呼吸法 | Merging Breath Method
As Above, So Below
Card #18 Ki Magick Training Deck
THE EXERCISE:
Take few moments to bring to mind the feeling of the energy of the earth, and the feeling of the energy of the heavens. Allow you body to calm down, become centered, and grounded.
When you feel ready for meditation:
Kneel down in seiza (kneeling as one traditionally would for meditation) with your hands relaxed and hanging to your sides. Breath in through your nose, basking in the feelings of groundedness and centeredness. Exhale with a ‘ha’ and sink into relaxation. (Remember Hado Breathing from Card #6)
Relax your eyes, allowing them to focus on a point about 2 meters away. * Breath in through your nose, basking in the feelings of groundedness and centeredness. Exhale with a ‘ha’ and sink into relaxation.
When you feel calm and fully centered:
With your inhalation pull in both the Golden Heavenly Ki and the Green Earthly Ki to your tanden (the energy center in the middle of the abdominal cavity). Feel these two energies blending in your tanden (your own personal powerhouse).
When your lungs are filled, purposefully bring your hands into Gassho (intentional prayer position at the heart with a focus on being 100% in the moment and full of gratitude).
Lift yourself up on your knees, while bringing your hands up from the heart chakra to above your crown chakra and opening them into the sun mudra (Forefingers and thumbs together to form a triangle, fingers splayed).
Still holding your breath, feel the lightness of the Heavenly Ki from above, as well as within your own belly.
Exhale slowly and deliberately through your mouth, bringing your arms down in a swimming motion towards the floor, while also sitting back into sieza. Visualize the green (earth) and gold (heaven) energies leaving your tanden with your breath and filling your aura like a coloured fog.
Repeat 10 times, filling your own aura first, then expanding the energies out into the room you are in. *
At first the energies will feel unbalanced with one feeling much stronger than the other.
When doing this exercise, you may feel a sense of invulnerability.
Once you've balanced the energies and come to terms with this awesome feeling of invincibility you will have mastered the exercise.

- As you become proficient at this exercise, you can expand the blended energies out beyond you own room, into your entire home, neighbourhood, city, province, country, continent, and world.
- While noting the feelings of the Earth energy, draw the Cho Ku Rei symbol over the 7 chakras.
- While noting the feelings of the Heavenly energy, draw the Sei He Ki over the 7 chakras.
- If you are attuned to the Master Symbol, especially the Tibetan Master Symbol, draw this symbol over the tanden while you are noticing the two Ki merging in your belly.
Hatsurei Hō | 発霊法 | As Within, So Without Meditation
Card #13 Ki Magic Training Cards
THE PREPARATION:
Sitting with a straight back, and feet flat on the floor. Ground and centre yourself.
Breathe in and perform Kenyoku (Card #8) in order to cleanse your body for the connection that is about to take place.
Set the intention with your Higher Self that you are performing a meditation to help you understand the deep meaning of “As within, so without”.
THE EXERCISE:
When you feel ready ….
Reach your hands up to the sky, and imagine healing white light pouring down over you, and into your hands, through your body, down to your tanden (the energy centre in the centre of your abdominal cavity).
Allow your hands to float down, palms facing the face and body, pulling the white healing light down with your hands. Allow your hands to settle onto your lap, resting on your legs, palms facing up in a receiving way.
Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breath. Continuing the visualization, imagine the white healing light continuing to flow into your body via the crown chakra, down to your tanden. Pause before exhaling to notice the energy in your tanden, and then flowing out to every cell in your body.
Now exhale naturally, feeling the energy flowing out of your body, out past your aura, out past the room you are in, and the building you are in, out into your block, and then your neighbourhood and further on out to into the universe.
Allow yourself to fall into a gentle rhythm of breathing white healing light into the tanden, then expanding out into the body, and then further out and back to the universe, emphasizing the macrocosm to microcosm to macrocosm cycle in your world. Breathe like this for 3 – 9 minutes.
Then, bring your hands into Gassho (prayer position, with the intent to be fully present, centered and grounded). Let go of attention to the breath and to the visualizations. Simply focus your attention now on the point where the two middle fingers touch. Maintain your awareness on the contact between the two fingers and breathe naturally for 3 – 9 minutes.
Then, begin to move energy in and out of your tanden through your hands. As you breath in, visualize the white healing light of the Universe coming in through your hands, down your arms and into the tanden. Pause to note the energy getting stronger in the tanden. Then, as you breathe out, visualize the healing energy flowing back up to your arms, out of your hands, and returning to the Universe.

Then, bring your hands back to the lap, but this time with palms down, intending to focus on yourself. Focus your attention on your tanden. Confirm with your Higher Self that the meditation is now complete, and that you have attained a new understanding of the Universal Truth “As within, so without”.
Finish by grounding yourself and shaking the excess energy off (I like to sing Taylor Swift when I do this because this exercise makes you feel so good!).
